Chiranjeevi's trust provides help in many emergency situations. The foremost activities include Blood bank and Eye donation. Over 20,000 people have donated blood and more than 10 lakh people have pledged their eyes through the Trust.
Chiranjeevi encourages people for blood donation and eye donation through various Audio and Visual means. A brief exhortation to come forward and donate blood and eyes is made by Chiranjeevi before each of his film's beginning. A short talk by him is also given in audiocassettes of his films.
Chiranjeevi donates generously to the needy. On his birthday on Aug 22, Chiru distributed 40 nos. three-wheelers to handicapped persons and distributed clothes to the poor, besides conducting Anna daanam to the poor through Fan Clubs all over the state at district and taluka levels.
Medical expenses assistance
In genuine cases Chiranjeevi also gives assistance for medical expenses of poor people. The amount usually ranges from Rs 1.5 to 2 Lakhs. In these cases Chiranjeevi directly interacts with the patients and arranges the amount.
